Logitech K250

Wireless keyboards are rapidly increasing in popularity; what with their wireless functionality and potential to be just as, if not more effective, than most standard keyboards. The Logitech K250 wireless keyboard just so happens to be one of these effective boards, and with its introduction; the brand has taken wireless game play to a whole level.

Logitech Wireless Keyboard K250

logitech k250If Logitech have one thing nailed, it’s the wireless potential of their products. The Logitech Wireless Keyboard K250 boasts a whopping 10m wireless coverage range, and the high strength signal can even travel through walls and doors. Logitech have also made a point of enhancing the aesthetics of this wireless keyboard, and the standard model comes complete with a two tone ‘Dark Fleur’ patterning on the bottom left/ top right.

Another benefit well worth mentioning is the low price tag associated with the keyboard. The K250 is actually one of the cheapest keyboards on the market, and considering it also features wireless technology; this isn’t something that should be overlooked. Considering the low price, users could be forgiven for expecting a low quality product; but this is a professionally designed Logitech keyboard, and it’s every inch the masterpiece.

The Specifications of the K250 Wireless Keyboard

One of the most obvious aspects of the K250 is that it’s wireless. The package comes complete with a small wireless dongle that can be directly connected to any USB port on a PC or laptop. Once connected, the high speed (2.4GHz) wireless dongle will receive input from the keyboard as fast as it would if connected directly via cable.

The keyboard is compatible with most versions of Windows too, although users may need to download additional software to allow it to run with Windows 8. The battery life on the keyboard is also very credible too. The K250 itself requires 2 x AAA batteries, and the power-saving features built in to the keyboard will allow it to keep going for months at a time.

Another important aspect to consider is that the keyboard comes complete with a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard; demonstrating just how much faith Logitech put in to their products.

The keyboard has been constructed with portability in mind, and several lightweight alloy materials have been used for the frame. The outer shell consists of a dense plastic that can withstand all but the most intense of damage. The shell is by no means uncomfortable however; in fact it’s more than suitable for use over the course of an entire day without discomfort. Considering the price, reliability and performance; there’s not much that this keyboard isn’t capable of doing, whether you’re gaming, word processing or web browsing.
